Ben's first girlfriend pt 5

Ben got up in the bus. He couldn't stop thinking about what happened yesterday. He was sure about his feeling for Emma was very strong, he didn't like the fact that she had cried. But the kiss… she had said that the kiss was wonderful… did it mean that they were a couple now?

They arrived to the school. Ben was looking out at the window. He was hoping Emma was waiting for him, but no. He was walking down the hallway looking for Emma. He got to his locker, no Emma. Ben noticed something. Emma's name on her locker was removed.
He went into the class, Emma wasn't there. Where was she? She use to be in school by now.

DING! DING! DING! DING! DING!  

The school-bell started, and Miss. Huss came into the class.

"Well kids… I have a very unexpected news for all of you. If you haven't notice, Emma isn't in school today"

The noise of Emma's name being mention got Ben's attention.

"I know Emma only was on this school for a couple of weeks, but yesterday her farther called me. It appears that he had got a job in another state… and no kids, I don't know anything about why he had chosen to change his job. But they have decided to move closer to his job, and Emma does not longer go on this school. Any question?"

Suddenly Ben felt very sick… like he had to trough up.

Why does this stuff always happened to me? I finally find someone wonderful! Someone who makes me laugh! Someone who could be… my girlfriend? And then she's moving away! Oh! I'm gunna miss her so much! We were just about to start, and not weir ended! This I horrible!

Ben got up, and walked straight out of the room.

"Benjamin please sit down again" Miss. Huss said, but Ben was already out of the door.

Ben rand as fast as he could, maybe Emma was still at her house.

I need to talk to her, I need to tell her what I fell for her before she leaves

He got to Emma's house, there was two big moving trucks.

I hope I'm not to late! How can they move so fast!?

Ben walked over to one of the moving men,

"Excuse me, where is the family?"

The moving man was big, very big.

"Gone, they have just drive away"  He said, "Hey, are you Ben?"

Ben looked curiously at him, "Yes I'm Ben, why?"

"The girl said that you properly would come… she told me to give you this."

The man handed Ben a piece of paper.

Dear Ben… Everything is going so quickly huh? Before I knew it, I was sitting in our car, on the way away from you. You was the only friend I had here, You was my first… kiss? I didn't knew you for more than 2 weeks, but I had notice you ever since I started on the school. I can't describe how happy I was to know that you had notice me too. I thought I had the time to learn more about you, and time to you could learn more about me… but even though I didn't know you for that long, I think you should know that you got me. We remind a lot of each other you know? Oh… I'm so bad at writing stuff like this… but anyway I'll promise that I will never forget you Ben. You're really something special, I can tell. I hope we are going to meet again at some point in our life's. I'm really going to miss the way you make me laugh… guess love is short huh?

Ben noticed some spot on the paper were wet… did he cried? Ben sat down on the ground. He had been in love with Emma every since she started on the school, and now they finally where together… and she was just moving like that? It was like his heart was ripped out. He remember the last sentence Emma said to him. "of course you do" of course he would see her again… but now he maybe never see her again. Never. It felt like he was kicked in the stomach…

Slowly Ben started to walk home. He read Emma's words again and again…

Guess love is short huh?
